COMMON MISTAKES TO AVOID

  1. Wrong resolution: Your DPI (Dots Per Inch) must be twice the LPI (Lines Per Inch) of the intended print.
  2. Missing fonts: True Type fonts have one file, and Postscript fonts have two (one screen file, one printer file). If your layout calls for a font that is not included with your files, your job will be delayed until the font is supplied.
  3. Wrong color: All color palettes for a full-color job must be converted to CMYK. All color palettes for spot color must be assigned a Pantone spot color. Any use of the RGB palette will result in color reproduction errors.
  4. Wrong color depth: All color images should be 24 bit color.
  5. Missing images: Images must be included with your files if the images are linked.

If you have any questions about the information presented on this page, please contact Noiseland.
